Fashion editors in South Africa are generally pretty good about supporting local designers. We all do fashion stories every so often that feature just local stars of the fashion industry. I like to go one better and include SA designers into every story, calling attention to their garments particularly and highlighting them as desirable. It works for our readers and for us.
And I am passionate about supporting and growing our industry.

I only mention it because this story is the cover story for Elle UK 25th birthday edition in October, featuring only British designers. Awesome idea, brought to life beautifully. Now I need to go and cast for our next editorial shoot.
