Three women in their forties. Three women at the top in competitive industries. Three women who sing, act, dance and make us laugh. Three women who look absolutely amazing.
Although they have all played it safe with black this week, all three know themselves well enough to take some risks. Gwynnie wore those punishingly hard-to-walk-in Lanvin shoes. Tina went slightly shorter than she usually does. And Halle poured herself into that classic shift.
If this combination of talent, beauty, style and brains isn't enough to give young women something to look up to, something to aspire to, something to admire, then I don't know what will.
And, of course, the message is, classic beauty is never out of style.
