I follow a lot of people on Twitter. It has changed my life in fashion significantly. One of the most fun ways it has changed is that I have been seeing what people have been wearing to the Paris (Milan/London/New York) shows — what trends have been apparent, what new items are being tried out and how people actually look in them. It is one of the most useful exercises for a fashion editor to go through. And thanks to Twitter, it is now pretty much instant.

The red skinny Isabel Marant jeans, the cape and the kitten heels (in this case on fashion blogger Garance Dore) are all big trends in Europe right now — and heading our way soon.
