Sometimes I see an outfit on someone and I love it. And all I can think is that I need to show you guys so that you can see how lovely it is and be inspired to wear something similar. Keira Knightly did such a thing at the end of the Venice Film Festival. Dressed in this amazing navy Orla Keily dress and heeled loafters. And I had no reason to post it. Until now. Because Keira headed off from Venice to Toronto for the Toronto Film Festival and we absolutely need to see what she wore there. Yay.
Lady Keira arrived in Toronto wearing what I thought was a Christopher Kane dress, but apparently it is by Wren. Add the grandpa cardigan and the tights and ballet flats, and I am sold. Cute and hip, but sufficiently dressed down to look like it is probably perfectly comfortable. What a win.
At the photo call for her film A Dangerous Method, Keira wore a charming Moschino Cheap & Chic floral print dress that it lovely and feminine and pretty — love the little sleeve and the slightly swirly skirt. (that's a technical fashion term, swirly, don't let anyone tell you otherwise)
And then she pulled out the big guns. For the premier, she hit the red carpet in Elie Saab. The king of red carpet dresses. And this one had a hollowed out back with that soft tie. And the draped sleeve. And the blossoms on the belt. It is this kind of detail, when combined with the beading and soft colour spectrum that make Elie Saab the first choice for red carpets. They are fools not to wear it. Well played Keira.
