The big news from last night's GQ Men of the Year Awards was not David Cameron's joke as the news wires are telling us, but the fact that my mate Alexa Chung had her outfit flown in and hand delivered by an employee of the designer, Valentino. Straight off the haute couture fall/winter runway, this look has got mixed reviews from bloggers and commentators. But still. I wouldn't mind being the type of gal who has her clothing hand delivered by a major label. Or even a minor one, to be fair. And I think she looks remarkably pretty.
Whatever the reviews, I would nab myself those Chanel Collection booties in a heartbeat.
