The 63rd Annual Red Cross Ball in Monaco was hosted this past weekend by His Serene Highness Prince Albert of Monaco and his wife, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene, for the first time. This is the first big state occasion for onse Charlene and she looked magnificent in a fuschia Akris ball gown with incredible detailing on the bodice and down the sides.

Charlene also wore a stunning diamond tiara — worn as a necklace, bought as a gift for her by her new husband. I don't personally love strapless on Charlene due to her disproportionately broad swimmer's shoulders, but she feels great showing them off, and so is more confident. So I say, well played SA lady. And boy did you do better than your new sisters-in-law!
