CTFW Reviews: Tart-ed Up for Summer Fun
Immediately after the Tart show at CTFW last night I tweeted that it was a "fashion editor's dream" collection. Let me explain. The colour was so vibrant, the fabrications and design so fluid and the silhouettes so accessible to the large majority of ladies, that we know that our readers will be delighted to see these clothes on the pages. The bosses will be gracious in their sign-offs due to the vibrancy of the pages and the creative team will love shooting them because  they will flow and do things to make lovely pictures. Everyone wins!
Possibly the only thing I omitted to say about the collection, was that us ladies would also love to WEAR the clothes. With her signature detailing like built-in bra tops and pockets, going about your day becomes a sartorial pleasure. Carrie from Tart started out many years ago doing t-shirts (like Alexander Wang), and now look how she has evolved — organically, measured in pace and all in the best interests of the women who she dresses. Excellent. Well done Tart.
