First of all I want to thank every single one of you who entered the competition to win the R1,000 Levi's CurveID gift card. All the reasons that you gave for winning, reminded me why I write this blog and why I love being part of a community of like-minded peeps. I mean, we all have the same struggles to find jeans that fit us — when we have lost weight, gained weight, had a baby, worn out our last pair or just desired something lovely that we can't afford. Or all of the above. We all love to have gorgeous clothes and look great — for ourselves mostly. But we all struggle to afford them or find them or know exactly how to wear them. And thing are always evolving and changing. That's fashion for you.
So thanks to one and all and I WISH I could give all of you (and me) a gift card. I really, really do. But alas, I only have one. And that one goes to....Jeanne Cupido.
I have actually met Jeanne in real life a few years ago, when I photographed her for Cosmo magazine. I discovered her through the blog and she has been a reader and active participant for over three years. So nothing made me happier when her name was selected (by others) as the winner of the competition. Well done and congrats Jeanne. I will be in touch to arrange delivery.
