There were a couple of days last month that no fashion editor in this town could shoot editorial. All the best models were booked. All the make-up peeps were unavailable. And even your friends were incommunicado if they worked for retail giant, Woolworths. And it was sticky, sweaty, boiling, boiling HOT. Like 40 degrees hot here in Cape Town. Where they were shooting the new Woolies winter Fash10n campaign.
Here are scenes from the shoot, with the girls being coached, the girls getting their make-up done and the girls trying so desperately to cool down. This is proof that fashion is not all glamour.
Although it has to be said that the end result looks like it is going to be amazing.
