These Are a Few of my Favourite Things

In the past week or so I have made some new discoveries and acquisitions and I thought I may share these with you on this warm sunny Cape Town day. The first is this new SA invention called a Cherry Handbag Organiser. I have been using it for a week now and, at first I thought it was a bit akin to the calculator watch — fun in theory but you can live without it. Essentially you put all the contents of your handbag into this organiser and then, when you want to swap between the white tote bag and the black Smythson Nancy, you simply whip out the organiser from the one and place it in the other. Well, now I have no idea how I managed without it, to be fair. And at least three people have asked me to give them one for Christmas. A sure fire winner right there.

Then I discovered, through a series of blog connections, and some lovely folks (thanks Cosmo staff), the treasure trove of Loft Fashions — the guys who import all sorts of lovely goodies that stock the boutiques of SA. Amongst their imports are Melissa's shoes from Brazil. I happen to be sample size so I walked away, a bit poorer in wallet, but richer in shoe selection. My favourites are the Vivienne Westwood for Melissa pumps.
And finally, I am loving my summer accessories. A new nautical hat from Woolies, my favourite-favourite green lightweight scarf and my large white leather tote (from Jigsaw in London). Fresh and stylish for the season.
