New Trend Alert: Lounge Wear

Speaking of new trends, apparently the latest trend is what is known as 'Lounge Wear'. Now I happen to know that my readers love a bit of comfy, snuggly style based on your enthusiasm for the Norwegian onesie. So let me tell you all about this new trend.
Apparently economic pressure, busy lives and safety concerns have propelled us back into our homes far more than ten years ago. As a result, easy fit 'lounging' style has become ever more important in the balance of our wardrobe. This has led to a big upswing in the sales of real, old fashioned pyjamas.
In the UK, some people (like Sienna and Helena), even wear them outside — a trend which has led to Tesco banning them from their stores and teachers to complain about 'slovenly' parents on the school run.
The latest figures indicate that as many as half of women now own pyjamas and more than a third of men also choose them as their sleepwear. A big up-swing on even two years ago.
Experts say the popularity of evenings in, surfing the internet and even the rise in the number of people working from home has sparked big demand for pyjamas.
Here at the O office, we see PJs as part of our self-nurturing, comfort of home, light-a-candle lifestyle that is so important to achieve balance in life.
And now some of the designers like Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbanna are reflecting this in their catwalk collections. Which is a much better idea than Sienna-style!
