Elfin 25-year-old actress, Carey Mulligan, outclassed more seasoned contenders for the title from this UK fashion glossy, including our blog favourites Victoria Beckham, Tilda Swinton, and Alexa Chung.
Named yesterday afternoon, Mulligan, was described by one of the judges as being "Like a Godard starlet — but totally modern", and she has rarely been off the fashion radar since her much-nominated appearance in "An Education".
Mulligan uses a stylist called Tina Laakkonen, and she manages to look simultaneously classic even whilst exploring more edgy designers.
My bestie, Victoria Beckham was the runner-up, with Alexa Chung in fourth and Tilda Swinton in seventh place.
