Charity Starts With A Christian Louboutin Shoe — Peace of Shoe

Us South Africans generally have quite a highly developed social conscience and it is often difficult for us to justify the excesses of the holiday season. But this year I have a small gift of information for you — a way to totally justify that pair of Louboutins you have been craving — it is the Christian Louboutin "Peace of Shoe," and 100% of the proceeds of your purchase will provide microfinance in poor countries.
Sadly only 33 pairs are being produced in champagne, lavender, and hot pink — but each is numbered and signed by the designer. They also come with a ma-hoosive price tag of $1,495 but the proceeds go to the Grameen Foundation, which provides poor people in remote areas small loans to start businesses and eventually support themselves. Worth it if you have the money to spare. And the shoes really are quite pretty. Would you buy a pair?
