Africa United Red Carpet

If you watch Sky News (or read Grazia), you will know about Debs Gardner-Paterson — a 32-year-old British female director whose debut feature film Africa United had its UK premiere at the London Film Festival in Leicester Square yesterday. Already being touted as "the new Slumdog Millionaire", Africa United is a funny, full-on emotional and mind-expanding story of three Rwandan children and their bid to achieve their ultimate dream: to take part in the opening ceremony of the 2010 Football World Cup in Johannesburg. How awesome!
And even more cool is that 25% of net profits from the film will be helping UK charity Comic Relief to have a positive impact on the lives of some of the poorest and most vulnerable people in the world, like Rwanda.
The young cast of the film outshone everyone else on the red carpet, in true central African style. I particularly love the little dude in the traditional garb. Styling.
