The Art of Fashion

Store of the Day: Callaghan
I love this store. Not just because it stocks my favourite two designers in the world, Diane von Furstenburg and Temperley London, but also because the buying is absolutely exceptional across all the lines.

Launching their summer collections today, you can now get Prada Sport's new lines, Pucci (still designed by Matthew Williamson) and Paula Ka in store. This is alongside the best DvF capsule collection this side of the equator.

Hangbags are the pick of what the international designers have to offer, with highlights being Anya Hindmarch's exquisite summer collection and Mark Jacobs' quilted beauties.

Don't feel that you have to have loads of money to benefit from what Callaghan has to offer — although it certainly helps. I believe that regular visits to the Cavendish (or Hyde Park) store will keep you up to date on international ladies fashion as well as receiving a master class on editing a collection and buying well for clients. Service is also pretty exceptional.

Shirley Tamaris, the store owner is wearing one of the great new Pucci shift dresses here.

Callaghan gets a 4.5*/5, with only the high prices keeping it from a full house.
