Missoni for Target Launch: Who Wore It Best?
So we all need a bit of a game on Fridays, right? And the diffusion line that great Italian label Missoni did for hypermarket chain, Target, is the best opportunity to play today. A whole bunch of gorgeous young women turned up for the launch of this affordable line — all wearing it. So, with mostly the playing fields leveled, we can now ask definitively, who wore it best?
I have narrowed down the contestants for you, eliminating all but the best in the audition rounds. Now we are down to the Top Four. And they are, for your viewing pleasure:
1. The very sweet Emma Roberts who has cunningly limited her Missoni garment to a cute cardigan and has worn that with her jeans, meaning she stays looking very relaxed and casual and authentic. No unforced errors in her style performance today;
2. Camilla Belle is a naturally beautiful and stylish young lady. And a dress is an excellent choice for her, keeping it feminine and simple. But has she overdone the look for the hypermarket?
3. Rachel Zoe has an unfair advantage as the uber stylist to the stars — she could probably dress these people in her sleep, with one hand holding the baby, or something. And yet she still manages to take a generic supermarket line and make it look like her signature retro boho chic. Amazing.
4. And finally, how about Elizabeth Olsen? I love her cute style and she is the only one not wearing those ubiquitous nude platforms. She still looks unpolished and real, despite being incredibly beautiful and for that she gets my vote as the winner. Maybe.
How about you all cast your votes now and sort this thing out once and for all. Who did wear it best?
