The Art of Fashion
The image of Charlotte comes from the Paris Vogue September issue. Charlotte is, in fact, on the cover. Looking a bit weird. For such a beautiful girl, I think she looks a bit rough frankly. But in the inside spread, she often looks young and unsure of herself, which I think adds to her freshness and loveliness. I say cover is a fail, but inside spread for the win. What about you?
I am not entirely sure why they are putting her on the cover now — and how it relates to the inside story, they seem a bit disconnected, but that may just be down to my lack of French comprehension.
Either way, it is a rare occurrence and one that allows us to see couture on a young, hip, beautiful girl in that first flush of early adulthood. If only we could all afford Balmain, Chanel, YSL and Gucci.
