I have made no secret of the fact that I am very particular when it comes to my shoes. It's Jimmy Choo pretty much every day of the week. And I save and save until I can afford them. It's easy when you put your mind to it. But on weekends in the country side it would look a teeny bit odd tripping around in my posh shoes. And so in summer I wear Havianas. Of course. And all the rest of the time I wear Superga trainers. I used to be a Converse girl. But now I am a devoted Superga lady with a collection that is growing. Liv Tyler, Jennifer Garner, Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung and Kelly Brook all agree. We are one in our cool Superga family.

There is now also plenty of development here in South Africa for the brand, so I thought it was worth letting you guys know about it. First there is their 100 years of existence — centenary celebrations. Have you seen the giant shoe at Melrose Arch Joziberg peeps? If you have please send me pics, this is the only one I have seen.

Also they are opening up a second concept store. The first one is in Rosebank. Now another one in the Sandton Mall extension has opened up. Hopefully we will have one in Cape Town soon!
Anyway, I am pretty sure that Supergas are the coolest trainers on the planet right now. With Alexa as their face and me as a fan, can you argue? Ha! Try them, I wouldn't tell you to unless I was a believer.
