Kate Moss Gets Married in Galliano
The troubled genius that is John Galliano made his first public appearance since the horror of his racist comments were caught on camera in Paris. And it was only fitting that it was at the wedding of his long-time friend Kate Moss, who he also supported through troubled times. Kate married her boyfriend, musician Jamie Hince of The Kills, in the Cotswolds on Friday, followed by a weekend of party shenanigans, dubbed Mosstock.
Her dress was a strangely grubby-looking, retro 90s-inspired, mesh, bias-cut sheath by Galliano. It had some beautiful beading around the hem, which I loved, but aside from that felt it was a bit meh. It breaks my heart that I say that about a Galliano, but I have to be honest. Jamie wore powder blue YSL by Stefano Pilati suit and his usual boots. And is that one of his scarves tied around his neck as a tie? Fun!
The night before, Kate had worn a vintage 70s turquoise dress that she borrowed from her mother. This was her something borrowed and something blue for her traditional wedding. What do you guys think of it? And her wedding dress? Comments please.
Anyhoodle, congrats to them both and all the best for a long life of happiness together.
