Miss Pillsbury is without doubt the most stylish character on Glee. With her cute cardigans and pencil skirts in bold colours, her wardrobe has directly influenced runway trends for the next summer and winter seasons. Jayma Mays, who plays her, also uses bright bold colours and simple silhouettes to play with her gorgeous ginger colouring on the red carpet. Only she leaves out the vintage touches and adds in modern items like shorts and platform shoes.
Jayma plays the human wife, Grace Winslow, in the new Smurfs movie. She has been out and about this past week promoting the film and has not put a foot wrong style-wise so far. She started out with a Tibi blue jacket and Ralph Lauren shirt and shorts for the Empire State Building photo call. She followed that up with Rebecca Minkoff blouse and shorts in Central Park at a mock Smurf village. With both of these looks she wore Aldo platform courts. The New York premier brought out a high-contrast Reem Acra mini dress and Ferregamo purple pumps. I kind of love this, but wish it was just two centimeters longer to make a better fall line. But lovely, lovely colour combos. Well played lady. My fave so far is the floral blouse look. And the fact that she didn't feel the need to dress up as a Smurf. What about you?
