When I heard of YSL's untimely passing on the weekend in Paris, I had ocassion to reflect on my only direct experience of the great man. When in Morocco just over a year ago, I visited his gardens in the city and found it to be an amazing lesson in beauty, tolerence and co-existence.
Of course he has created so many objects of beauty in his time — and it is safe to say that his style certainly shall be eternal.
