How I love an awards red carpet. I am particularly fond of the all-out ones. You know, ball gowns and haute couture. The others all seem to reveal a distinct lack of clarity on what is appropriate. But the red carpet for the 2011 Critics Choice TV Awards held last night was actually pretty consistent. A smart casual brief seemed to be the order of the day. And the three who, in my opinion, nailed it were:
1. Courtney Cox in Lanvin snakeskin with classic (and oft worn) Jimmy Choo Jag heels;
2. Kaley Cuoco (from Big Bang Theory) in lilac Issa halterneck jumpsuit;
3. Cat Deeley (obvs) bang on trend in Dolce & Gabbana little white lace dress and good-ole' Zara heels.
