As I follow local model Candice Boucher on Twitter, I was aware that she had filmed an Israeli movie Hearat Shulayim - in Morocco I believe — and that it was due to be premiered in Cannes. I also knew that she had fittings with Gavin Rajah for her dress and was super-excited about it. What I didn't expect was that it would make the UK's Daily Mail as it has this morning. 
However, due to the revealing nature of the dress, that put even Cheryl Cole's plunging neckline to shame, I guess we can't be too shocked! Candice is a swimsuit model who posed for Playboy last year in a glorious romp in the African savannah. Gavin is known for his whisp-o-dresses for the very sexy so the coming together of the two was always going to be an exercise in risque dressing.
With a stunning body — as a result of a punishing "buns of steel" workout programme — Candice certainly looked amazing. And the detail of the dress is quite beautiful. It is not to my personal taste, of course, but a jolly good showing by all South Africans concerned and it makes us all very proud. Well played Candice and Gavin.
