It is always interesting to me to see how pregnant stars are shot for advertising campaigns. Marion Cotillard is, of course, quite far along by now, but this campaign image was shot when she was a few months pregnant and they have styled it beautifully. She looks like the sexy, beautiful seductress she is supposed to be, whilst not really making any concessions. The hero — the bag — is appropriately placed for the narrative and to cunningly disguise the belly, so it all works out well.
Marion has been the face of Lady Dior bags since 2008 and her campaigns always take place in exotic global locations. For the purposes of this one set in Russia, the shoot was actually done in Paris.
