Girlie clothing brand Lipsy has just announced a design collaberation with the latest British singer/songwriter du jour Pixie Lott, inspired by the singers own unique style. Having been around for all of about 2 minutes, Pixie has already appeared on the cover of UK's In Style in January — reflecting the immense current interest in her style and fashionista credentials. So this collab does make quite a lot of sense and piques my interest.
Apparently the rather prosaically named Pixie Collection, comprises two distinct looks, Pixie Festival and Pixie Party, combining soft vintage style cotton dresses and bleached denim with oversized animal prints and embellishment on sexy chiffon layered dresses.
Since Lispy have established themselves in South Africa as a bit of a go-to brand for on-trend party outfits, I imagine this is going to fly off the shelves. Assuming of course that the party girls know and appreciate who Pixie Lott is...
