The Art of Fashion

Julianne Moore for Talbots. That's Better.
I love Julianne Moore. She is a wonderful actress. She is a beautiful ginger. She is older and wiser and charming and relatively normal. She is the sort of woman you hope to meet one day.
She generally looks amazing, unafraid as she is to take fashion risks. Of late I have become increasingly frustrated by her unrelenting Lanvin outfits. Love the outfits — but they often look baggy or oversized on her. It just seems a bit lazy — basically she will wear whatever Alber sends her whether it works in her favour or not (as would I, but I am no Julianne Moore).
She also shot those Bulgari ads that had her naked in the midst of small animal creatures and some random fabric. I wasn't really totally on board with those, even though she looked staggeringly beautiful.
But now I can breathe out again. Look at the first image from the new US Talbots campaign. Goodness. Now very lovely.
