So here is the thing. Margaret Howell is easily one of my favourite designers. Possibly the designer I love most for myself in the world. And I will bet right now most of you are going, "who?"
Well let me introduce her to you. Blog gang, meet Margaret Howell.
She makes clothes that are a large part Katherine Hepburn wide legs and boyish chic. And the rest is about English preppy. It is easy fit and flowy and unpretentious and super-timeless. It is stylish without being high fashion. It is fashion — with a very clear point of view.
She is showing at London Fashion Week in about 12 days time and it is my mission to get into her show. I will almost certainly fail. But you can bet I will try my hardest.
