Nothing Says Christmas Like Bad Sweaters — Says WSJ
Apparently this year, da yoof have discovered how hilarious it is to wear ugly Christmas sweaters ironically to parties, reports The Wall Street Journal. And as a result, silly-looking holiday-themed knitwear is enjoying a surge in popularity in the US, with some stores having trouble keeping up with the trend, particularly those located in 'hipster' neighborhoods. Ha!
Can you believe the WSJ is reporting on bad holiday sweaters? But then if you think about it cheesy things are all back in vogue — and there is no party like an old school party, right?
The slightly cheddar Glee cast all wore these jerseys for their official Christmas card, and the Hanson boys donned theirs with equally Stilton-esque grins on their blog. So I guess it is a trend.
It's a bit warm here in good old South Africa for us to join in, but I hope you enjoy the giggle and that you all have MmmBop ear-wigging in your head for the rest of the day like me! Merry Christmas...
